Mountain Flight

Mountain Flight
Admire the most remote places of the Himalayas in Nepal is not a problem. Mountain flights provide the answer. In a very short time you can experience the Himalayas at hand as if you could touch.
Mountain flights offer the best chance to take the closest views and to have the most sensational approach of Mount Everest (8850 m) and other mountains like the Shisa Pangma (8013 m), Gauri Shankar (7134 m ), the Melungtse (7023 m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Pumori (8,171 m), Nuptse (7,855 m), Lhotse (8516 m) and Amadablam (6856 m).
Flights depart every morning from Kathmandu airport and flights are performed at an average altitude of 6500 - 7000 meters. The flight includes a loop around the Amadablam before entering the Khumbu valley, and takes passengers to less than 6 km from the world's highest peak Mount Everest (weather permitting). The flight takes about an hour. Each passenger is entitled to a window with individual seat throughout the flight. In addition, all passengers are invited into the cockpit where they can take some spectacular photos of the highest mountains in the world.
Description of the mountains can be seen during flight in the mountains:
1. Langtang (7234m):
The first string that can be seen is the Langtang. The valley of Langtang, which is not visible from the mountain flight, is considered the most beautiful Himalayan region.
2. Gosainthan (8013m):
This mountain is on the border Nepal - Tibet. The Tibetan name of this mountain is Shisapangma. It is related with many Hindu mythology of Shiva.
3. Dorje Lakpa (6975m):
This mountain has a Tibetan name meaning "Sacred Mountain of wrath." This mountain is considered a sacred mountain for Buddhists and climbing permission to have been issued only in 1964, and it was climbed in 1981.
4. Gauri-Sankar (7134 m):
This single mountain has two peaks and also has two names because the Hindus believe that the mountain looks like the pair of Gods Shiva and Gouri. This holy mountain was banned until 1977 for climbers. It was only in 1979 that an American expedition - Nepal reached the summit.
5. Lhotse (8516m):
As this mountain lies to the south of Everest, name given by the Sherpas is Lhotse, which means "South Peak". The first ascent of this mountain was made in 1956 by the Swiss.
6. Mount Everest (8848m):
This mountain was discovered in 1852 and is the highest mountain in the world, taking its name from Sir George Everest an English explorer, geographer. Sagarmatha, the roof of the universe, is the Nepali name meaning "mother of the world" in Tibetan and Qomolongma. Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay were the first to climb Everest May 25, 1953. They result was knighted by Queen Elizabeth.
Although flights ** the mountain are appreciated by thousands of people throughout the year, we strongly recommend the period February to April and October to November.
After the flight you will receive a Diploma which will allow you to kindly remind you of your life during this flight unique and prestigious
